With Vera from NYC

DC

I was also in Washington DC recently. Nice city, wouldn’t mind living there. Of course, like in NYC, it rained most of the time. But I had fun with Nikola and Manchego (also known as Miles). They were so nice to me – they were kissing and hugging me all the time. I know I am irresistible but I was still a little surprised. Was it because of me or just the fact that I am a baby? Why do kids love babies?

With Manchego and Nikola

NYC

I went to New York City a few weeks ago. I wanted to see those shows in Guggenheim and Metropolitan but my father got sick and couldn’t take me there. It’s funny, both my parents were again wiped out and I was just fine. Remember my secret remedy – well it worked again! As for NYC, it’s not bad. I love the restaurants and the energy. But, it’s just too noisy and dirty for my taste. It seems that people care more about dogs than babies. There are definitely more little dogs than little children. I saw people carrying their little dogs in slings and seemed surprised when my father was carrying a baby in his sling?! Weird city (for many reasons). One woman asked my mom “Where did you get your baby?”

Crawling

I think I know how to crawl. The only problem is that I can do it only backwards and without a rear mirror it is a bit risky. I almost fell from the bed the other day. On the other hand, crawling forward seems too difficult – instead of pushing with my arms I would have to pull or invent some other technique. Life is difficult. I mean moving is difficult. After all, crawling might not be the most efficient way of moving.

New toy

I can sit now!

Like (grand) father like (grand) son

I met my grandparents! I realized I am a lot like my grandfathers; I am toothless, pretty bald, and have hearing problems (talk when no one talks to me and don’t respond when they talk to me). I wake up several times at night and take naps during the day. Although I don’t complain much, I do get easily annoyed.

New game

While I was on a plane, I came up with a new game. I would look (stare) at someone until that someone would look back at me and then I would make a big smile! Cool, isn't it?

I am back!

It has been a while since I made a last posting - I have been traveling. I was in Europe, and then at Williams College, and then in Washington DC. I am a busy little man. Anyway, Europe is great, but very expensive. One good thing about European airlines is that they let infants and pregnant women go first unlike the US airlines where (so far) this was not the case. I noticed that some overweight people (in wheelchairs) were given priority because they had difficulties walking but what about me? I can’t walk either! I am being discriminated just because I am not overweight! Should I supersize so that I can board first?!
